This was a complete redo using Sunbrella for the side panels and Sea Mark (a Sunbrella material with a rubber coating to make it waterproof) for the front and aft Biminis.
Awnings for Dockside House
We designed and built two custom awnings and frames for a dockside house. The second floor house has French Doors and the owner wanted the awnings to come off of each door and extend to the railing.

We designed this enclosure with two big front and side windows to increase visibility and airflow. We also designed the aft window and doorway to either be rolled up or removed completely. The aft window is a separate panel from the skirt below. This allows for easy removal (or roll up) of the window without …

Making a new cover for a cushion is just one part of giving an old cushion new life. Foam, like a regular sponge, will hold it the shape if pressed into a form for a long period of time. Using a hand steamer, we can rejuvenate foam to pop back into it’s original form and …

Room on a 25′ sailboat is at a premium. Add the fact that she had her original cushions from the 70’s, and you have one small time-machine. First we re-covered the cushions with a Sunbrella fabric that had a two-tone, brown speckled pattern that suited the male owner to a tee. Next we covered the unsightly …

Made with Phifertex Plus, these cushions are ready for hard use. Phifertex is a mesh material that wears and cleans well. It allows water to run through, and with outdoor foam, these cushions will drain and dry quickly. We also spiced them up with custom made pipping that matches the rest of the canvas.

View full postFull Bridge Enclosure for a Silverton in Charcoal Tweed Sunbrella
At first I thought the Charcoal Tweed Sunbrella was going to be too dark for such a large boat. But Sunbrella’s tweed patterns add a nice touch of color without getting too dark (or in some cases, too light). Solid black would have been too much, and the grey would have washed the boat out. This …
